This is my new favorite interview podcast. Conan does a great job of towing the line between sincerity and humor
I was introduced to Conan by my son, Muneeb maybe 3 or 4 years ago and since then I’ve been a big fan. It has never failed to uplift me. These days I just start my day with my morning walk, headphones, this podcast and lots of laughs! Thank you ? Conan!!! Ashy Australia
Makes me feel nice.
Most entertaining Podcast. Similar to the classic Talk Show, here Conan interviews famous guests, but I love that now he has time and space to get into more in depth and substantial conversations and show a wider aspect of his personality. Also has more liberty to be hilarious. I totally recommend it!
Please make magnetic signs for cars saying Listening to Conan O'Brian. Laughing by myself in a car at a red lights gets me a few strange stares
Hilarious conversations with guests and even funnier banter between Conan, Sona, and Matt. This is my Monday morning drive into work podcast!
My name is Sarah Mayes, and I would be hyper-vigilant if I became Conan O’Brien’s friend.
The best Podcast Ive ever listened to.
I love, maybe, 98% of the interviews, but the real fun is hearing Conan, Sona, and Matt shoot the sh*t. Such great chemistry.Only podcast I don't skip the ads on even if it's the same ad I've heard dozens of time.
This show started out hilarious for the first couple of seasons, real conversations to see celebrities away from the spot light. The last 18 months or so, apart from the odd show, this has turned into another celebrity plug machine. "I find it hard to think of any person on the planet that ...................... (usually) makes me laugh harder", this is something you will hear Conan repeat to many different people. This show is not terrible and it can be very funny, but it has become too generic and more about people pluggin their latest project.Mark Maron
Thank you for literally making me LOL so all the strangers stare at me laughing hysterically alone in the park.
The funniest celebrity interview podcast out there. I look forward to it every week, not because of whoever the guest is, but because I love Conan.
Fun and engaging. Conan brings out the best in his guests.
Awesome beansauce
Conan is an absolute genius at playing to the strength of each guest. The SNL reverence do have solid foundations, and are appreciated but seriously really do get a wee bit old. The age of the typical listener would not remember those glory days at all. We do though. Yes, we do. From the very first episode, we were there. Having cherry picked through many guests, about 2/3 of the list was dropped. The rest of the guests were enjoyed to the fullest during these depressing Covid times. Some surprises: a comedian who was sober and maybe a little bit sad (Mike Meyers), was balanced hilariously with a former comedy partner of Mr. Myers' whose voice stylings never disappoint (Dana Carvey). There is false humility (Adam Sandler), genuine humility (Ben Stiller), just-let-Conan-fall-into-his-own-mess (Lisa Kudrow). The enthusiastic interviewee becomes interviewer (Patton Oswalt) still working on issues but - hey -am still here (Ray Romano) The best facial expression even on a podcast (Julia Louis-Dreyfus); drier than desert dust (Kevin Neelon); still saying 'sorry' (Catherine O'Hara); still getting no respect for professorial observations (Eugene Levy); self loathing hilariousness (Jim Gaffigan). Wear that Jerry Reed outfit just one more day- please? No problem. I'll wear it for 3 months (Will Ferrell). Just happy to talk about anything like a true English gentleman. Amazingly the usual f-bomb was only released once! (Eric Idle). Interesting, well read and just a darn good guy (Tom Hanks) - wish Tom had told the story about working as a gopher at a Las Vegas hotel before fortune and fame. He tells about caddying for a black comedian named Slap somebody or other- a great story complete with all the voices. Loved Tom's most recent movie which hit home. My father was a WWII Lieutenant in the Canadian Navy on 3 different corvettes which were part of the Triangle Run of the North AtlanticThe one man I will happily wait to listen to is Bob Newhart. The occasion will be with tears and tribute once Mr. Newhart's bus from this earth tour departs. Am wishing Conan could have interviewed Albert Brooks. Maybe next time.
Good for laughs, I’ve been a Conan fan since the start.
Before lockdown, I would skip around the pre- and post-interview talk, as I wasn't connecting with the team's dynamic, and since I'm not American, I don't have an ingrained sense of who Conan is when on or off camera, so it felt like a continuation of a conversation I wasn't there for to begin with, but in a way that felt a little exclusive rather than inclusive. However, the last few episodes that have been recorded in lockdown have been fun and funny, and I've enjoyed the non-interview parts just as much as the interviews. and have laughed out loud at everyone's exasperation as Conan tries to understand the tech around him. He shifts back and forth between high- and low-status personalities, which is jarring in a head-turning double-take kind of way.
My husband and I don't watch as much Conan O'Brian as we used too because the show comes on a channel we don't have. Still I catch the show from time to time in hotels and at my niece's. I was intrigued to find this podcast and was thankful the guests were people from my generation. We listen together and I cry laughing. Conan is just a doll.
Not just a great comedian podcast but one of the leading interview style podcasts out there. Fantastic insights on Conan and his friends!
Great podcast! Have been enjoying every single episode, no matter whether I knew the guest or not.
